1975 AM General M35 2.5 ton cargo truck
USAF markings, 106th Air Control Squadron, Utah Air National Guard

M35A2C 2.5-Ton 6x6 Cargo Truck

This particular truck was an Air Force truck. It was assigned to the Utah Air National Guard and belonged to the 106th Air Control Squadron. There is a small outline of the state of Utah on the passenger’s side of the front bumper with 106 ACS in it. It is barely visible now. (Looking for a larger picture of the patch, info on and other data on the now decommissioned 106th ACS)

The vehicle was turned in to DRMO at Sharp Army Depot, sat for over a year there, had parts striped off it and was sold at auction by GL. The person who bought it sold it to me. I’ve replaced the troop seats, the windshield and the hardtop cab. It’s a great truck and that "C" version engine is a great "Whistler".

Currently it has a few miles over 6000 on it. I’ve left it with the Air Force markings as I was in the AF Reserves and Air National Guard for 7 yrs.
